Riffmaster pro is created
by Heath Nicholson, a professional guitar teacher, and author
and is a brilliant piece of software for any budding guitarist
to own.
What is does in a nutshell, is takes any piece of music and
slows it down completely so that you can learn each note
easily. The beauty of Riffmaster pro is that is slows the track
down enough so you can hear each beat and pick it out slowly.
Then once you’ve mastered the track, you can just speed up your
playing to the original speed of the song.

Being able to play music by
ear is absolutely essential for any guitarist. Current
technology like Riffmaster pro now make learning how to do this
so much easier. Even extremely fast guitar solos can be slowed
down and this is amazingly helpful when you’re new to learning
songs solos by ear.
Riffmaster Pro Review:
Features Overview
- Riffmaster pro is
really simple to use. You don’t need to have any specific
technical skills to be able to use this piece of
software.
- When songs are slowed
down, their original pitch is maintained– essential for
learning to play the song correctly.
- An additional feature
of Riffmaster pro is that is allows you to loop sections of
a track. You can therefore loop a particular section that
you may be having trouble with and practice just that
section until you’ve mastered it.
- The software allows
you to import any song you like into the software – whether
from a CD or music stored on your hard drive.
- It supports all the
common music formats available (mp4, wma, Aff, ogg mp3 and
wav + 15 others).
- Slowed down songs can
be save to Mp3 or wav format!
I’ve been playing guitar
for many years now and have seen the difference Riffmaster pro
has made to the speed my students are able to learn guitar
solos. If you’re serious about learning to play the guitar I
highly recommend you get your hands on this incredible piece of
software.
